Assessment Centres at The Boardroom The Boardroom specialise in the design and delivery of bespoke Sales and Sales Leadership Assessment Centres using either your company’s existing competency criteria, or working from frameworks that we have been involved in developing with you.

We attach a tremendous amount of importance to the initial consultation and the project meetings, working in partnership with you to ensure that the quality of our design work meets and even exceeds your expectations.

Our exercises are specifically designed with you in mind, and we create credible scenarios set within the context of your own organisation that add to the realism, relevance and usefulness of the process. The option of using corporate actors in many of our role plays and presentation exercises can add further to the challenging yet enjoyable experience for attendees and observers alike.

The benefits of this approach are most visible in our Assessment Centre exercises that often combine to form a "holistic" scenario that develops throughout the course of the day(s). This allows the participants to be observed in a relevant sales or management environment, and to receive up-to-the-minute feedback on how their performance might be improved both during and after the Assessment Centre.

As well as measuring skill levels against competencies, we also measure motivation levels and behaviour. To support this we often use psychometric testing / behavioural analysis and are happy to provide trained assessors or observers and centre managers to run this. However we are also happy for you to be actively involved in the assessment process as either observers or assessors and therefore we can provide professional assessor training where appropriate.
